As guests arrive at the Malibu Private Estate by car or by shuttle they walk down the driveway toward the pre-ceremony cocktail party overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Cocktail tables in tones of cream & copper graced the tables and a greet bar serving non-alcoholic beverages awaited them.
As guests walked to the ceremony through the brick arch – the tent frame was lightly draped in sheer cream toned fabric to provide the guests with sheer coverage from bright sunlight. The magnificent ceremony structure was placed on a slightly raised riser and is 6 sided, peaked & built from recycled barn wood, it is graced with crème scrim fabric and lush clusters of garden style flowers. The sides of the structure featured laser cut paper panels. From the center peak a grand floral and crystal chandelier was hung. Guests were seated in rustic wood folding chairs with cream colored pads.
The cocktail party took place in the courtyard around the beautiful fountain. Large stands of tall branches in old wood tubs created the entry to the cocktail party. Cocktail tables surrounded the fountain and were draped in tones of light lilac to bronzier to give richness to the look of the flowers. The bar & the seafood station had structures built over them using rustic wood columns with vintage fabric awnings.
Inside the dining tent, the ceiling was draped in fabric and tables were setup in square and rounds seating up to 8 guests each. The linen was in tones of rich plums with a mismatched variety of flatware and featured coordinating charger plates in copper & dark wood. Walnut toned chairs were at each place setting. The sweet heart table was set for only two – the bride & groom and had a lush & romantic feel to it. A lounge was be set near the overlook to the Pacific Ocean and a dark wood dance floor was in place lit with a scrollwork pattern. As the night winded down, the guests were in awe of the amazing lighting in the trees and throughout the space. Over 800 candles lit the pathways, dining tables and bars making this a romantic evening full of new surprises for the guests.
