I know that we share a lot of weddings on our blog but we also do our fair share of winery events and corporate events. This is one of my favorite parties…Carnivus Maximus MMXV for Crocker & Starr Winery in St. Helena. Pam Starr is owner & winemaker and she is so much fun – I totally get her passion and her drive for her clients and her industry. It shows in everything she does from the incredible wines to the brand new winery building that she impeccably designed to house her most precious work.
This is their biggest event of the year and it’s a doozy – 300 wine club members, 5 hours on Labor Day weekend, seriously the most delicious wine you’ve tasted that goes perfectly with whole roasted pigs, paella, pizza and did I mention tons of prizes. Why wouldn’t you want to come to this party? We even have their mascot – the Casali Guy – who interacts with the guests, plays games with them and joins them in the photo booth. We did this even all while having the footings for the new winery poured just 15′ away from the back end of our tent and construction going on all around. It was all worth it to see how happy the guests were and how much they loved the event. We heard it was the “best Carnivus yet”.
If I’m being honest, though, I think my favorite part of the whole party is the shave ice flavors. Seriously check them out. Not typical but absolutely delicious. I tried every single flavor last year!
We’re getting ready to load in this event again this year which will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Crocker & Starr and the opening of the new winery building…and it’s going to be so much bigger and so much better and it’s COMPLETELY SOLD OUT. We’re just counting down the days before the 2016 Call to Carnivus!
