In the Napa Valley, being a Napa winery event planner creates amazing opportunities to create guest experiences where the focus is on the wine and the food which helps create brand ambassadors for the winery brand.  We have had the pleasure of working with Crocker & Starr winery for the past three years designing their biggest event – Carnivus Maximus.  Hosting over 400 wine club members and guests, Carnivus Maximus is a four-hour festival celebrating the 20+ years of winemaking by co-owner and winemaker Pam Starr and her collaboration with co-owner Charlie Crocker.

Tons of food stations including whole roasted pig from Smoke, oysters on the half shell from Hog Island, wood fired pizza from Napa Valley Crust, Shave Ice from Paradise Shave Ice, chicken paella from Zuzu and custom charcuterie from Fatted Calf are all paired with Crocker & Starr wines.  Guests are engaged in fun games including guess the cork where they can win prizes valued at over $10,000.  It’s such a great, interactive event to design.  In fact, the guests don’t want to leave at the end of the event because they’re having so much fun, drinking delicious wines including reserve tastings and current releases.
