Sonoma Wedding Designer at Chalk Hill Estate
Lainie and Mike were married on a mountaintop with views overlooking the Sonoma Valley & Mount St. Helena. The gorgeous ceremony was inspired by a piece of art that they have in their home – a driftwood sea-horse. The structure was made from bleached grapevine and driftwood and stands nearly 10′ tall. We accented the ceremony structure was a plethora of coral and orchids {a favorite of Mike’s}. It’s so important to us that we are able to incorporate unexpected details into a client’s event that speak volumes about who they are, what they love and how they live. It’s an intimate reflection of who they are. Since Mike grows orchids, we used them throughout the event and created beautiful arrangements with them both as a single varietal clustered in a vase and as a highlighted piece of individual arrangements.
We kept the color palette subtle until after dinner when guests went to a surprise after party tent which was lit in tones of magenta and tangerine. The views from the entire property were a backdrop for the evening’s events. Kate Webber Photography did a stunning job capturing the love of the couple and the love in the details.
